Biography
Alberto Spartaco Umbrella has been writing since 1990. Always fascinated by mystery and science-fiction, he starts his literary experience by publishing a series of short stories on the cultural review "La Procellaria" of Reggio Calabria, directed by Francesco Fiumara: Dietro la siepe (Behind the hedge), Sogno (Dream), Il signor nessuno (Mr. Nobody), La mansarda (The attic), Quella scala nel parco (That ladder in the park), etc. One of Alberto's short-stories can be found on line on the cultural-website Dadanet. Meeting Giovanni Spedicati of "La Mongolfiera" upgrades his production, hence he publishes in 2000 with the above mentioned publishing house "I mille universi della mente umana" (A thousand universes of the human mind) two exciting suspense-packed short-stories, in 2001 "l'Occhio e la mente" (The eye and the mind), another fascinating voyage across the human mind. In 2003 he publishes "La chat" the chat, an action-packed fantasy-thriller of unexpected inside flaps, set in a future-orientated and hyper technological directional center. Alberto Umbrella has successfully presented his three books at the international book fair of Turin, being appreciated by public and critic.
